An app takes up room on a phone; people keep it only if it does a job for them. We find that job first.

Mobile app

In its first minute open, it should show what it is for.

We work out when, and why, people will open the app, and try the flow screen by screen in a prototype. We ship to iOS and Android from one codebase, and stay with you from the store launch to the releases after it.

What you get.

  1. Flow and prototype

Screens are tried in a clickable prototype before they are coded, so a wrong turn is fixed while it is still on paper.

  2. iOS and Android

One codebase, two stores. Every update goes out on both platforms together.

  3. Accounts and notifications

Sign-in, profile, payment and the notification that arrives at the right moment: the parts that bring people back to the app.

  4. PWA and offline use

When needed, the app also opens in the browser and keeps working when the connection drops.

  5. Store launch and monitoring

We submit to the App Store and Google Play, and keep an eye on crash and usage reports.

Who we’ve made it for.

Mobile app: what people ask.

An app, or a mobile-friendly site?

If people will open it every day or every week, an app; if they will look now and then, a good mobile site is often enough. We weigh this up together in our first meeting.

Do you deal with store approval?

Yes. From the developer accounts to the store images and the review process, we handle all of it.

What happens after launch?

As operating systems update, we keep the app compatible, and we plan and release new versions with you.
